CTC’s SpeedSurvey Program enables our clients to collect address-level data on broadband availability and in-home internet service performance—a key first step in identifying solutions to fill broadband gaps in their communities. SpeedSurvey results also help determine whether a resident’s router configuration or other device issues in the home might be causing some user-reported problems.

We develop and host custom speed-test websites, deliver testing hardware to volunteer participants, and analyze data to guide our recommendations and our clients’ next steps. We customize each SpeedSurvey effort and can provide client access to real-time data on an interactive, online dashboard.
